Understand your brain
We can learn you tricks but you’ll forget. We can help you understand and feel and you’ll never forget. Your choice.
Science proves us that our brain is not made for remembering a movement as complicated as our golf swing. We do remember some simple movements like biking and swimming. They are indeed part of our fight or flight respons. Our brain only cares for our survival, unfortunately not for our swing. I’m sure you once warmed up and swung your club like never before, only to discover that you lost it again on the first tee, didn’t you? Knowing this, we are sure no one will ever reach the point of a 100% consistent golf swing. It just is impossible.
Train your brain
Knowing how our brain works, we now can take this knowledge and develop rituals for a consistent approach to our game and to every single golf shot.
Because going for a 100% consistent swing is out of the question, we better focus on the things we have in our control. These are the rituals we bring to our game and to each and every swing as well as our attitude. We train our mind to perform in a neutral position. We get out of our own way and feel the shot that is needed before we step up to the ball. We have a vivid memory of the target and with this programmed mind we hit the shot.
Perfom in “The Zone”
Optimal performance can only be achieved by optimal practice. Therefore we take our rituals first to the driving range. That’s where we enter “the zone”
The driving range is ideal to train our mind. Unfortunately, most of the time you see people getting better and better at….. their old habits. Therefore, we must practice intelligently. Specific practice rituals will help you to simulate the court and to feel the zone, even on the driving range. Later on the court, our rituals are our new habits and from this comfort zone we can shoot our best shots.
